ARKAN is a Derevo act in different places, which can be proposed by organizers of the festivals. Bank halls, lakes, roofs, theatrical spaces…

We need to see the place in a day before the performance. On the next day we are ready to play. If there is a possibility to see the photos of the place in advance this will simplify the preparations.

Probably, we need a help from the organizers in finding necessary things for the performance. For instance, children choir or military orchestra. Sometimes, like it was in Holland, a working tractor is enough. Possibly we won’t need anything except Derevo dancing bodies… If you propose us more than a one performance, we’d prefer to play in the different places.

Since June 2005 Derevo has decided to give not the names but the numbers for these performances. In Dresden in May 2005 it was «ARKAN I», on the 2nd of July you could see in Warsaw «ARKAN II», and on the 9th of July in Szczecin «ARKAN-III»...

The number of actors is 9-11.

Requirements for light and sound are moderate.
